About

Alessandro is a guitarist and composer who views the acoustic guitar not just as an instrument, but as a storyteller. Specializing in percussive-fingerstyle, Alessandro transforms six strings into a full ensemble, blending rhythm, harmony, and melody into a single, cinematic voice.

Born in Belluno, Italy, his journey began far from the concert hall. After graduating from the Liceo Musicale, he spent two years traveling across Europe—from Germany to Spain—performing in small theaters and honing his craft through the raw authenticity of street art.

This period of exploration was solidified by masterclasses with world-class innovators such as Don Ross, Jon Gomm, Alexandr Misko, Thomas Leeb, and Calum Graham. Currently, he continues to refine his technique and artistic vision under the mentorship of Davide Mastrangelo.

Alessandro’s sound is a unique tapestry woven from diverse influences. He bridges the gap between the historic folk fingerstyle traditions of John Renbourn and Rick Ruskin and the rhythmic intensity of modern percussive players, all underpinned by the structural elegance of early 20th-century classical music. Yet, for Alessandro, technique is never the end goal; it is simply the means to express emotion.

His career is marked by both artistic and social commitment. During his time in Milan, following the devastation of Storm Vaia, he founded and co-designed "Belluno Alza La Voce," a fundraising project that earned him the prestigious Pelmo D’Oro award for volunteer initiative.

Having performed at major festivals, including the Ferrara Buskers Festival (2022), and currently serving as project coordinator for Sala Prove (Casa Dei Beni Comuni), Alessandro is now focused on his next chapter. He is currently working on a new studio album—an introspective yet dynamic collection of songs that traverse the landscape from mystery to joy.
